So you have a feeling that something is not right – you know that feeling in your gut telling you there’s something different about your partner.  Things have changed but you can’t put your finger on it.

As time goes on these feelings get stronger, the alarm bells are going off…..you don’t have any concrete evidence but you just have a feeling your partner is having an affair.  So you start asking questions….only to be told “it’s all in your head” or “you’re crazy” or “don’t be so stupid”.  But your partner is really feeling distant from you now, he/she always seems angry, blames you for everything that goes wrong.  And over a period of time gradually chips away at any self esteem or confidence you may have left.  You feel like you can’t win..you want to talk about these feelings you have but your partner explodes…time and time again until you’re too scared to even breathe around them.

You could be having a relationship with a narcissist!  A narcissist will always start a relationship appearing to be the most ‘perfect’ loving partner BUT then for some reason it all changes…..let the games begin!  See a relationship to a narcissist is just that….a game.  Regardless of how many years you’ve been together or how many children you have the true narcissist WILL show their true colours and when they do be prepared……

Most cheating partners, I have found, are narcissists.  I know this from personal experience as well as all the infidelity cases I have worked on being a private investigator.  Being involved with a narcissist when they eventually show their real selves, and they always will, is absolutely devastating…..emotionally, psychologically and often physically.
